Nurse Eastin is a board certified Advanced Registered Nurse, a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and a certified Pediatric Mental Health Specialist. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University where she is also an assistant professor and coordinator of their Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program.
Before joining DePaul, Nurse Eastin served the community at several health care facilities including Ocshner Westside Pediatrics in Marrero, David Raines Community Health Center in Bossier City, and University Health Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit in Shreveport.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners. Nurse Eastin enjoys spending time with her family outdoors.
